RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig have established themselves as a Champions League-level club from the former East Germany. The Red Bull Arena, rebuilt from the old Zentralstadion, holds 47,069 and provides a modern, loud matchday experience. The fan culture is younger and newer than the traditional Ruhr clubs, but the atmosphere has grown steadily as the club builds its identity.

Leipzig as a city is one of Germany's best-kept secrets for tourists. It is dramatically cheaper than Munich or Hamburg, with a thriving arts scene, excellent restaurants, beautiful architecture, and a nightlife culture that rivals Berlin. The Hauptbahnhof, Europe's largest railway station by floor area, is a 15-minute tram ride from the stadium.
